Our Car Haulers
We specialize in open MaxxD car & equipment haulers — low-deck flatbeds that load fast, tie down securely, and pull behind a properly equipped 3/4-ton truck on a standard bumper hitch.
MaxxD 20' Car & Equipment Hauler
A 20' deck, 7.5' wide, with a 7,000 lb GVWR — right for most single cars, small trucks, and project vehicles.
MaxxD 24' Car & Equipment Hauler
A longer 24' deck rated to a 14,000 lb GVWR — the call for full-size trucks, a car-plus-cargo setup, or a heavier build that needs more deck and more capacity.
Car Hauler Rates
20' (7,000 lb) & 24' (14,000 lb GVWR) • 7.5' wide • bumper-pull, 2-5/16-inch ball • $250 deposit, valid ID.

Open Car Hauler: Pros & Cons
Why Open Haulers Work
- Lower daily cost than enclosed transport
- Fast, easy drive-on loading and tie-down
- Better fuel economy — less wind drag
- You can see the load the whole trip
- Handles non-runners with a winch (bring your own)
Plan Around These
- No weather or road-debris protection
- Not for high-value enclosed-only collector cars
- You supply straps and (if needed) a winch
- Requires a capable tow vehicle and brake controller
What You Need to Tow It
- Tow vehicle: a 3/4-ton (or capable 1/2-ton for the 20' with a light car) with a 2-5/16" ball and the right rating for your load.
- Brake controller: our haulers have trailer brakes — your truck needs a controller. New to it? Read how brake controllers work.
- Securement: wheel straps or chains rated for the vehicle. Ask us if you need gear.
- At pickup: a $250 refundable credit-card deposit and a valid driver's license.
Loading a Car Safely (Quick Version)
- Hitch up, cross your safety chains, and plug in the lights and brakes.
- Load on flat ground; pull the car on straight and centered slightly forward for proper tongue weight.
- Use four points — wheel straps over the tires are best for the vehicle's suspension.
- Set the parking brake, chock if needed, and re-check straps after the first few miles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you have enclosed car haulers?
A: Our auto-transport fleet is open-deck. For weather-sensitive or high-value enclosed transport, call us and we'll talk through your options.
Q: Can I tow a car hauler with a half-ton truck?
A: Often yes for the 20' with a lighter vehicle, as long as your truck's tow and payload ratings cover the loaded weight. Call with your truck and the car and we'll confirm.
Q: Do you provide a winch for non-runners?
A: Bring your own winch for non-running vehicles. Let us know your situation and we'll make sure you're set up to load safely.
Q: Can you deliver the trailer to me?
A: Yes — local delivery starts at $55 one-way around Murfreesboro, with surrounding areas priced by distance.
